Drawing attention with its elegant bobbin-form design, the mill comes with two S- and P-marked stainless steel screw knobs so it can be used for both salt and pepper. Made of rubberwood from sustainable sources, this elegant mill is coated with eight layers of high-gloss varnish, with each layer meticulously polished by expert hands to achieve a flawless shine. Tested in independent laboratories and confirmed to comply with the EU food-contact directives 84/500/EEC and 2005/31/EC. The ceramic grinding mechanism works easily when turned clockwise, and it is recommended to use only black pepper or dry rock salt of up to 4 mm. Please do not use sea salt, wet salt, dried wet salt or pink peppercorns. The grind fineness is determined by how tightly the adjustment knob is turned; however, overtightening should be avoided so as not to damage the ceramic mechanism.
