Product Description This silver lacquered bobbin-shaped mill, specially designed for Addison Ross, adds a modern sparkle and an elegant touch to tables. Since it comes with both S- and P-marked stainless steel screw knobs, you can use the product as either a salt or a pepper mill. Made of rubberwood from sustainable sources, the mill is coated with eight layers of high-gloss lacquer, with each layer meticulously hand-polished for a flawless shine. It has been tested by independent laboratories for compliance with European Union food contact. The durable ceramic grinding mechanism works with a simple clockwise turning motion. It should be used only with black pepper or dry rock salt of up to 4 mm. The use of sea salt, wet salt or pink peppercorns is not suitable. The more the grinding adjustment knob is tightened the finer the grind; however, it should not be overtightened so as not to damage the mechanism.
